On the southern city waterside, Louvain’s latest industrial site, the former Inbev site, is being converted into a new city neighbourhood: DijleDelta.
The Sluispark is being developed in a central position in the DijleDelta project. It concerns the construction of eighty apartments distributed over two buildings. The large building is situated between the DijleDelta (Island building) and features 66 apartments, with corresponding underground parking. The small building (Reception room building) is situated on Vaartstraat and features 14 apartments with corresponding underground parking. Renovation of the existing Smidse is also part of the project.
