The new MUZE cultural centre is partly housed in the winding gear building on the mining site at Zolder. This project forms phase 2 of “De Verdieping” and includes, amongst other things, a new theatre integrated into winding gear building 3. The gallery with 400 seats is accessible via the museum space in pithead house 2 which has already been renovated and will serve as a foyer space.
