Where do we begin? Vanderstraeten brims with history and tradition. The foundations from the past form the basis for the future. The one-man business set up by Michel Vanderstraeten in 1935 grew into one of the most prestigious construction companies in Belgium. Some of the milestones:
2020 – Michel Vanderstraeten becomes under chairman of the National Construction Confederation
2020 – Karel Luyckx becomes Managing Director/CEO of Vanderstraeten
2020 – Michel Vanderstraeten becomes chairman of the Limburg Construction Confederation
2020 – Peremans relocates to new offices in Halle
2019 – Vanderstraeten Groep becomes VDS Group
2019 – Peremans opens office in Mechelen
2019 – New office complex in Lummen
2018 – Opening of Antwerp office
2017 – Vanderstraeten Groep participates in BELVENT
2015 – Vanderstraeten Groep generates turnover in excess of 100 million euros
2007 – Takeover Peremans nv (Class 7) of Halle
2005 – Incorporation of Execon nv (Class 6)
2000 – VCA certification attained
Michel Vanderstraeten takes over the leadership
1996 – Quality certificate ISO 9001 obtained
1994 – New complex at the Lummen industrial park
1975 – Carlos Vanderstraeten takes over the leadership
1973 – Vanderstraeten becomes a Class 8 company, the highest accreditation
1966 – A new location at the edge of the Lummen village centre
1945 – Class 1 accreditation for public works
1935 – Michel Vanderstraeten sets up his one-man business
